<p><b>Shurtape DF-545 Double-Sided Cloth Carpet Tape</b> is a 10.5 mil thick premium grade double-sided (AKA double-coated) cloth tape used by the hospitality industry used as carpet tape to hold carpet and pad at convention centers, arenas, and hotels. Other applications include general purpose uses in maintenance construction; hanging poly-sheeting in mold/asbestos remediation industry, and splicing applications. The tape is engineered with a versatile adhesive system that provides strength and clean removability from most surfaces. Blended natural and synthetic rubber provides superior adhesion to concrete, tile, hardwood flooring, and other irregular surfaces. A special poly laminate layer provides high tensile strength in demanding construction, convention, and abatement applications. Because of the tape's cloth carrier and its ability to remove without leaving adhesive residue behind this tape is also sometimes referred to as double-sided gaffers tape. Shurtape DF 545 comes on a blue color film release liner (film liners are great for applying the tape over larger areas since a film liner will not tear; however if you are looking for an easier to remove liner for smaller jobs please see a double-sided tape which an extended edge or a paper release liner).
